ABOUT

My career started with a magnifying glass and tiny brushes, hand-painting photo-composites in gouache. I got what most retouchers don't get upfront: a deep, hands-on understanding of light, color, craft and the history of art and graphics. I came up through commercial retouching the hard way, apprenticing under some of the best in the business, working across thousands of jobs. Experience has shaped how I approach every project: with precision, adaptability, and a genuine respect for the creative work I'm trusted to finish.
Most retouchers know Photoshop; few carry a prepress background as well as a Fine Arts degree - a combination that lets me address both the technical failure points and the aesthetic ones before they become somebody else's problem.
Agencies and studios bring me in when it matters most: a file isn't print-ready, it’s about to blow past deadline, or an asset isn't holding up under review. Creatives hand me their files and trust me to "do my thing" creatively. Professionals trust me because they can brief, let me get on with it and provide what they need. My standard doesn't change whether the material is photo, CG render, or Gen AI. I apply a veteran Human-in-the-Loop approach to every deliverable, including dedicated AI QC. I ensure assets look great and hold up whether it’s 4K, Out of Home, Print, and Entertainment production, crossing any uncanny valley. And along the way some of that work has won awards.
My ability is industry-agnostic. Whether the deliverable is a theatrical key art campaign or a global brand launch, the review is the same: fresh eyes, fast service, on deadline. I get hired again because I show up for every step of the process.
Dual US/UK citizen with production experience across both markets. Portfolio and case studies available.
